1. President. President of the Club.
2. Members. Members of the Club.
3. Resident Members. Shall mean who reside within the boundary of Sylhet Area.
4. Out-Station Members. Shall mean those who live outside of Sylhet Area.
5. Absentee Members. Shall mean those who have notified secretary in writing of their intention of being absent from Sylhet area from given date for a period over 12 months. They must notify the member secretary in writing of the actual date of their return to Sylhet Area. In case of service members posted out from this station, they will become an automatic absentee member. It must be notified member secretary along with the information of posting.
6. Committee. Described under different heads.
7. Executive Committee (EC). The Committee elected/selected to run the affairs of the Club.
8. Special Resolution and Extraordinary Resolution. Special or extraordinary meeting of EC and decisions made in a club meeting.
9. Month. According to the Gregorian Calendar.
10. Club. The Club shall mean Golf and Country Club of Jalalabad or JLGCC.
11. Sylhet area will include all administrative districts/areas under Sylhet area.
